Congratulations to the freshly minted dr. Andres Sepulveda Allende, PhD

AndresPlease join me in congratulating Andres for FINALLY completing his PhD thesis in Oceanography (more pix here)! More about that on his page here. He now will have the opportunity to devote part of his precious time to more genealogical research.

If you don't know it yet, I started the http://sepulveda.org project with Andres many years ago, and this site and its information (almost 16,000 individuals in our family tree) wouldn't exist without him!

Update: this is a pix of the two of us in Santiago de Chile, around Christmas 2000, when we met finally met in person after years of collaboration over the Internet. Here we were in a downtown library searching for genealogy books. What else?
