Nice huh ? gazillion of multimedia features, radio options (GPRS, UMTS, WiFI, HSDPA...), a GPS, a 5MP camera, radio...

Is there a blog out there for this device ?

For the moment I'm not using it yet as my main phone, as it doesn't yet synchronize with my Mac through iSync or Novamedia's plugins... but it's lighter than my N80, has a larger screen, better picture & video quality (although the N93 seems better - further testing required), and I can't yet make the GPS work...

Update: there seems to be 2 sites already: N95Blog.com, and a N95forum.com. I haven't found much there though.

Gilles Musi was a very nice interviewer this week for his weekly tech column on startups. The article is now online and features what we do. It's pretty accurate (in French), although of course a few things could be corrected:

* in 2005, I was interim CEO, not interim President of glowria
* we launched the company in September 2005, youtube had its series A in october 2005, and the video iPod was launched in November 2005
* Innovacom, our VC, is not technically the venture capital arm of Orange; Orange is a shareholder of the management company of the fund, and is a shareholder of Innovacom 5.
* I believe that the 100 Mo limit per file at other companies is for the main public. There are special programs that allow a higher file size. Our limit is just a soft limit, as we believe that it is more than enough for a single clip.
* I am not sure that both numbers expressed in euros are accurate ;)

Loic Le Meur leaves SixApart

3 years after having introduced me to blogging, almost to the day, famous French entrepreneur & blogger announces today that Olivier Creiche, his co-founder and buddy, is taking over at Six Apart EMEA, and that he is stepping down.

Proud to be European

Today is a beautiful day. Today, we celebrate the signature of the first 2 founding treaties creating the European Union, signed in Rome on 25 March 1957: the Treaties of Rome.

Today, the European Union is 50 years old.

Many celebrations will be happening this Sunday all around Europe. And it's shamefully absent from the French presidential race debates... we are back to the question of "national identity (France), supported by Nicolas Sarkozy.  Indeed he doesn't even speak English, why should he care about Europe ?
Only Bayrou seems to have a strong vision on Europe; Royal's stand is rather shallow.

The European integration is one the major political agendas for my generation on this continent. We have our challenges, but it's really worth trying really hard.
