Hey, almost the end of the week. 35 minutes to midnight here.
Not blogging too much today, as I have been cleaning up stuff:
- I've re-arranged my blog layout somewhat, simplified the buttons a bit (why shoudl I advertise for others ?), moved stuff around. Do you like it ?
- I've realized there are a number of people I don't read anymore, because precisely I want to read them, hence I skip all their posts on bloglines saying to myself that I'll come back. I then tend to skim through lots of stuff with no real interest to me. That is sorted out: I created a list of A-list bloggers (check the bottom left): people I WILL read before reading the rest ;)
- my favourite quote of the week: "Bill and Steve have never played well in the sandbox if you know what I mean."
- I had dinner on Saturday with some great folks (pix1 and pix 2 on my moblog): they tell me my posts are 1) too long, 2) in English which makes native-French people not read them, and US guys not interested in an adopted French blogger... What do you think . Make my posts shorter and in French? or just keep it the same ?
- installed Sunbird on my linux box, changed my mail program from Evolution (havent' tried version 2) to Thunderbird 0.8 (that's what I use on my PC box)
- wondering whether I should ask the people that visit this blog to identify themselves, a bit like rMen did a while ago...
- and finally closed the IRC window on #joiito: it gets very addictive (chatZilla is a good IRC extension for Firefox)...
