I apologize in advance for boring you with my personal situation, and although I've known about it for a while, I am only taking action tomorrow, and switching to Free, the market innovator.
This is a story in two parts, that tells you a lot about how companies think you are a complete sucker.
Part A: I have been a client of Noos for 8 years now (at the time, it was the best value on the market: high-speed Internet before ADSL existed really). And I've been paying 41€/month for ever for a 512Kb/s connection.

Not only is it extremely difficult to find the offering page when you are a member (ie accessing the offers page from within the Noos network), but you get immediately redirected to another page when you enter the offers page URL directly! Fortunately, they haven't closed all loopholes, and you can find some of the offerings if you look hard enough.
Part B : So I call up their client support (and wait for a very long while!) and ask candidly why is it that I, who have been a customer for 8 years, have not been i) informed that there are better offers available on the market, ii) that I am paying much more than the street price of much better offers! The lady is very nice, and tells me that she can immediately upgrade me to a new speed, send me a new modem, if I will agree to sign for another 12 months (my previous note remarked that Free upgrades all their clients, although not fully on the CPE side, for which you will have to pay).
"Hello???? Is it me you're looking for ??? I can see it in your eyes... I can see it your smile..." (Lionel Ritchie). Do you really think I am going to stick with you and feel like a fool twice ?
