As you may know, my company, RISC Partners, and myself were deeply involved in the launch of www.glowria.fr, the n°1 on-line DVD player in France.
We helped with fund raising, recruitment, IT management, strategic marketing, financial modelling, and overall operations optimization. Ivan Communod and myself, 2 partners with RISC Partners, are currently board members of glowria.
Surfing tonight on google to check our rankings,
I decided to have a look at some of the other players in our space.
Interestingly, one of them has introduced the 1€ for 4 DVDs for one month trial period. Now this is interesting, because not only did I design this offer while working at glowria (I won't go into the logic behind it here), but I am pretty sure we introduced it first on the market a while ago now (was it at the end of last year ?).
