Business: I have over 10 years experience in the Internet space, mainly as a management consultant and as an Entrepreneur:
Co-founder & CEO of RISC Partners, a private equity boutique in Paris, France. We specialize in Strategic Advisorship to new ventures and in turnaround situations; I was for example the interim CEO for glowria.fr, the leading French on-line DVD rental company (recipient of the Capital-IT Autumn 2003 best start-up award, of ANVAR innovation label, etc.;
I also advise a number of companies around Internet business models, including AOL Europe (a Time Warner company)
Previously I had spent about 1 year with Gemini Consulting (now Cap Gemini) as a Principal and almost 5 years with KPMG Consulting (formerly Peat Marwick, now BearingPoint) most recently as the founder and Manager in charge of the e-business practice in Paris, serving mainly the Media and Retail sectors;
While in engineering school, I worked for 2,5 years with large corporations (including Novell Corp. and Intel Corp.) as an independant consultant on network and telecom related assignments in several European countries.
Education: I am Computer Science Engineer (M.S. in Comp. Sc. from EPITA, 1995) with business degrees from Sorbonne University (DESS-MBA 2000) and INSEAD (MBA 2002J); I have also spent a term on exchange at the Wharton Business School (MBA Class of 2003).
