Tariq had organized a really nice private party on the day of "Fête de la Musique" in June 21st.
CulturePod was there and interviewed the Netvibes extensively.
Somehow I got a rather long interview in there as well. It starts at around minute 7:30
Happened recently in the St-Lazare area in Paris...

Seems to have been a great party at amiando.de ! Good that they now have to store spare parts for their growth :)
Free wifi, capuccino, a quick muffin... checking my emails at the Columbus Café in the Marais. Lots to do this morning.
and we had thought this was a French specialty...
A little known fact about me is that I smoked cigars heavily for about 15 years (about 3 a day).
I made many friends back then, joining several clubs and partying heavily with them at restaurants. I stopped smoking when my son was born 5 years ago. But I've kept my friends and see them every now and then for a nice chat, and sometimes a new cigar.
Denis Soupault, whom I've known for 10 years (we won a best Parisian Cigar Club years ago), came by for lunch today and we had a little chat in front of the camera. He's the president of Cigarmania, and has taken up videoblogging since our last encounter last summer.
I've been looking for a piece of furniture for a while: an old parisian bar.
I've only found one shop online (and many people I've talked to have pointed me to it). I'm also told there is a guy at the St-Ouen Flea Market that sells old "bistrot" pieces of furniture. I'll try that tomorrow. (update: him ?)
I've also tried eBay for the past 6 weeks. Not much there either.
Any other hints? something in your attic :) ?
