Gilles Babinet has founded a new company called OSLight and he's funded!

Download: movie (.mov)

Just stumbled on Gilles’ video on Thomas Blard’s blog: he doesn’t mention the name of his company, but it’s there in the title. You get glimpses of what he’s trying to do, in particular he says he wants to merge images (video) and the mobile world, enabling users to experience the same environment as with TV: press a button and become passive.

Interestingly, he says he says he’s not looking for money anymore, and that folks will understand why in a few weeks. I’m either blind & deaf, or I’d say the man has already got funding !

Congrats buddy on your new venture: always a pleasure to see you on vpod.tv!

Update: there's more info on Jacques' blog, who's trying to recruit the CTO for the company. A CTO for a well-funded company shouldn't be too hard to fund now... Even a logo:

Oslight
