RSS #026: video advice from a pro, Olivier Palomino [French]

At the Fanny's Party last night, I had a great chat with Olivier Palomino, an old-timer from France3 television, taking footage with his huge camera.
I proposed a videoblogger vs. profesional cameraman contest: I think I win in terms of size and usage.

He probably wins in terms of video and sound quality, although he tells me he was very surprised by the GOOD quality of the audio, since we were in a very noisy place.

So I asked him for some professional advice on how to capture quality. And there are no surprises indeed: white balance, proper framing, great lighting, good audio, and a great subject to talk about with or without a presenter.
