What is my digital identity 2.0 ?

I have been struggling for a while with the concept of my digital identity. I wrote about it extensively exactly one year and 2 days ago.
This morning Marc points to a FANTASTIC video by the CEO of SXIP.com (pronounced SKIP). Although it does not solve the problem, it does address the issues quite well (in a rather funny way), and shows that folks are addressing the problem seriously.
Interestingly, he points to the mashups of APIs of web companies offering services (can’t confuse that with web services yet), which leads to what we call Web 2.0 (next conference details here).
Don’t forget to also have a look at OpenID.net, identity commons and my comment on ID being the barrier to entry to e-commerce in this note.
As a matter of fact, don’t you see there is a real need for a DIGG-like service or del.icio.us -like system to tag fantastic multimedia content all over the web ? So much better than all the fuss around VOD these days….
Finally, this guy challenges the excellent presentation skills of Steve Jobs
, and in his last slide, he credits Prof. Lawrence Lessig for his influence on the presentation style.
